Masseter (Jaw) Botox
Masseter botox is an aesthetic treatment method generally used to reduce excessive muscle activity in the chin area and slim jaw lines. In this procedure, botulinum toxin type A (botox) injections are made into the masseter muscles, which are located on the sides of the jaw and enable jaw movements.
Masseter muscles are strong jaw muscles used during chewing. However, in some people, these muscles may be overdeveloped, resulting in a square or wide jawline. This may be a source of aesthetic concern for some people.
